Born in Sololá in 1983, since Pablo has been a child he has enjoyed nature.

He began birdwatching in 2007 while he was working as a guide. In 2015, through the Audubon Society, he learned how to collaborate through citizen-science initiative eBird.org and share his passion with other bird and nature lovers.

Some of his best successes include: re-discovering the Belted Flycatcher in Panajachel after 15 years without sightings (2017); inspire interest in local students; guide various birdwatching groups who want to see this specie.

Pablo is a local guide for well-known international tour operators like Rockjumper, Nature Trekk, Galapagos, to name a few.

He also enjoys giving talks at local schools about nature conservation and the environment.
