Located in the Atitlan Nature Reserve, the San Buenaventura trail is one of three nearby trails for Panajachel.
This is an ideal trail for a 2 to 3 hour morning birding walk.
The trail begins near the entrance of Hotel Atitlan and crosses hanging bridges and easy grades as it meanders through Montane Habitat.
Species of interest include Sparkling-tailed Hummingbird, Blue-throated and Lesson’s Motmot.
